Signs of spring

1.) Avian: Red-shouldered hawks courting and copulating while cardinals collect nesting materials in our yard

2.) Botanical: Forsythia starting to flower, maples flowering, tulips emerging, and daffodils blooming.

3.) Alder: Hours of fun in a full sandbox and exploring the yard.

4.) Shorts and sandals!!

While these signs may be short-lived...March is not predictably shorts and sandals weather here in Richmond, we are loving every minute and know that true spring (with dogwoods blooming and migrating warblers singing) is just around the corner...

...and to these thoughts, Alder replies...'uh huh....big tactor...'
