This weekend, Alder's friend Sylvia came over (and Lesley' and Jason's friend's Janet and Dan) to play and eat brunch. After we ate overcooked dill biscuits and eggs ;0), we sat out on the deck and enjoyed an unusually warm Sunday afternoon. Here are a few pics of Alder and Sylvia. Sylvia was very interested in Alder, reaching and touching and smiling. Alder just kicked his legs, threw his arms about and yelled to the heavens about who knows what! Janet and Dan politely asked if he does this often, and now that I think about it...yes. It is a funny behavior that entertains us often. I will try to post a video of it soon.
Looks like Sylvia is trying to tickle Alder, but we think she was trying to get him to shut up! It was so neat to see them lying next to each other and compare their size, feet, actions, everything. She is just one week older than Alder.
Here are is an 'angelic' shot of Alder in his nice jammies/sleep sack. What a dainty little mouth, just like dad...
Just kidding! Now THAT looks and acts like momma's mouth!!
OK, one last pic of another one of Alder's funny behaviors. He is distracted from breastfeeding by just about anything...dog or dad entering room, dishes clanging in kitchen, whatever.

You can serve me overcooked biscuits and eggs anytime! I like the photo of the kids where their mouths are inverse shapes of one anothers.
