Update

Still no baby.
Contractions are frequent, but not too regular or intense....
Alder is seeming bigger and bigger every day...

Matchbox cars are one of Alder's favorites things these days...he comes up to me with one as asks - "what this car, mommy?"

Dad built Alder a new shelf for his room which has decreased some clutter in the rest of the house...just in time to pull some infant stuff down from the attic...

Alder and I stayed around the house in our pjs for most of the afternoon today...very nice.

I love the bookcase. Jason, your description yesterday did not do it justice. I am very impressed, but I always am impressed with your skills!

Lesley, I am sorry you are uncomfortable....I know, a small price to pay for the end result. When that little angel gets here you will feel great again - I hope! Anxiously awaiting news.....

I noticed Alder's big boy pants. Hooray - at least you can say you didnt have two in diapers at once!
Love you all. Granna

Yes, its feels weird to say he is out of diapers... but he is officially. For maybe about 2 months now at home and probably 2-3 weeks at school too. Fingers crossed he wont un-decide to be a big boy on that.

Lesley, you think Alder looks big now, wait until you come home with the new baby. He will look like a little man.

Jason, nice carpentry. My carpentry is always thrown together (functional). You always make your carpentry look nice as well. Well done given all the constraints I'm sure you work under.
A brief no-diaper interlude! Invaluable.

Daniel, Very kind words and thank you, but... dont look too closely. This shelf was very thrown together. Sometimes I think that my handymanning has made me better at using caulking, sandpaper, and paint than anything else. Hey to the fam. Love and miss you guys.
