I am teaching Ornithology to college students this semester and went out to hone my skills with some friends a couple of weeks ago. I went birding a lot during my last two months of pregnancy - peak Spring migration and post dissertation defense. Since Alder has ben born, we have been out a little, but not as much as in past times. We will certainly start dragging him out on hikes and nature walks this spring though. Soon he will be identifying warbler and tanagers by song!
